Sepps is a recording artist and songwriter born and raised in Toronto with roots in East Africa, particularly Ethiopia. His musical influences encompass a diverse range, including Rap/Hip Hop, Soul, Slow Jams, RnB, Pop, Reggae, and Dancehall. Despite a strong inclination towards Rap/Hip Hop and club hits, Sepps has developed a distinctive sound with a groove-inducing flow.
Initiating his journey into music by writing lyrics at the age of 9, Sepps was resolute in pursuing a career in the industry. His path led him from an internship at Koch Records to a role behind the scenes, followed by participation in an apprenticeship program. These experiences contributed to the establishment of his independent record label, "Da Commission."
With a solid foundation in music, Sepps has maintained independence in his musical endeavors, operating as the sole proprietor of his record label. He has diligently worked on numerous projects to ensure their presence on various platforms. Although he produced three major hit singles in 2019, the releases were delayed due to the covid-19 pandemic, with the tracks finally seeing the light of day in 2021.
