Cash is brilliant in his articulation in revealing himself to the audience, while still showing incredible emcee presence. He holds no punches and delivers a hip hop masterpiece filled with crazy lyrics, amazing flow, conviction in his delivery, and all over the right production that is the canvas to the exciting picture he paints with his words.
He was a huge Michael Jackson fan. He grew up in that golden 90’s era so like Snoop, A Tribe Called Quest, Wu Tang Clan were some of his earliest influences as far as when he first started rapping. Jay-Z later inspired him with his consistency by not just putting out music all the time, but quality music with hot beats and bars to match. So Cash always felt like that’s how he wants to be, constantly putting out quality music.
His process for making music is totally organic. Sometimes he has an idea for a track, and he creates a whole beat around that concept. Then once the beat is done he will write to it. Other times he will just make a beat, or be flipping through a couple beats and one in particular speaks to me.
