ENJAY – the man behind the music
Butterflies Inside is the debut single from ENJAY who is showing that Britain certainly has got talent.
This talented performer not only sings, but also plays all the instruments in the single too. He credits life as being his inspiration for the music and the lyrics of his songs, drawing both on his own experiences and what he observes around him. His love of music started at an early age, singing and using any object around as an instrument when his mum was singing. Once given the opportunity to play different instruments he didn’t hold back, and was soon teaching himself how to play keyboard and guitar, finding that he could play by ear. At 13 years old he started playing the drums, being taught by ‘The Nice’ drummer, Brian Davison. This led to being in several different bands, touring Britain, and playing percussion for house DJs in his local area. ENJAY’s main musical influences are Kurt Cobain and Dave Grohl, but he also credits others including Joey Jordison, Thomas Lang, Chris Adler (after whom one of his sons is named) and Lars Ulrich to name a few. He his currently working on new songs for his upcoming album, and has exciting projects in the pipeline. Music is not just a hobby for ENJAY, it is his passion and his life, explored through different genres and sounds.
