Recording artiste Lianne Rhule (stage name Layla Rhule) had an interest in various genres of music from an early age. Her father was a talented visual artist who joined a band as a bass player. While he did not pursue music as a career, Layla Rhule was exposed to several genres of music. She garnered love and appreciation for art and music and soon after learned to play the piano.
She played the piano throughout high school and College, after which she completed voice lessons and music classes as she aimed to pursue music as a lucrative career. Layla Rhule was inspired by the likes of Alicia Keys for her writing style and charisma; reggae stalwarts Buju Banton, Chronixx and Damion ‘Jr Gong’ Marley for creating music that encourages positive change and international recording artiste Rihanna for her ability to dominate as an artiste from the Caribbean.
Layla Rhule prides herself on being multifaceted as a producer, musician, and all-around entertainer. With international success as her goal, she aspires to bring joy and create change through her music.
