Jeff Turnage, also known by his stage name POPAPERC is a fresh and exciting voice, making waves across the music scene today with his latest release, the album entitled “PLUGNSOCKET”.
Taking his cue from artists of great renown, such as Jay Z, Pop Smoke, and Internet Money, POPAPERC is putting out high quality tunes that bring together elements of rap, hip-hop, as well as several other genres. In other words, there’s a little something for everybody on the album. Some songs, in particular, veer closer towards the whole pop scene, giving them a catchy, commercial-friendly vibe. Right now, the album is being played on Jango Radio, an Internet radio station, and is rapidly climbing the charts on popular streaming apps, such as Spotify.
Although young and at a very early place in his career, POPAPERC has already collaborated with numerous producers, and sound engineers, such as Kinoda1, Blasian Beats, WAV Ultra, and Ethan Ramsden, with whom he collaborated on his latest album. On “PLUGNSOCKET”, he has also teamed up with other popular names on the music scene, like OSHN, on the track “Kepit 100”, and with AK on “THOU S”.
Although POPAPERC has always been aware of his deep affection and obvious skill in music, things haven’t always gone smoothly for the singer and songwriter. Interestingly enough, a while back, the artist had his sound equipment stolen, and though he didn’t let that stop his journey to fame, the event did harm his efforts. Still, never one to give up, POPAPERC learned to grow from this, as well as other difficult experiences. He focused all his attention to learning from his mistakes, and letting them help him grow into something larger, and better. According to POPAPERC, that’s precisely what “PLUGNSOCKET” is about - growing from your mistakes, and letting them guide you to do better. Currently, the artist is dedicating himself to promoting this latest musical release.
