Armond “Storm” Carter, also known as $. (S Dot) is an artist and lyricist who has a music background growing up in central Florida then eventually, moving to North Atlanta. I got the name Storm from both my parents serving in the Desert Storm War. The perspective gained from the history of music in central Florida and Atlanta fused together created a contrasting outlook in my music. At the age of 8 I started playing instruments such as the trumpet and baritone. At 13, I started using music an an outlet and driving force to navigate through my own personal struggles. Music became the outlet I didn’t know I needed. Watching my older brother who was a rising artist in Atlanta, he helped me To develop my skill set further once he saw I was serious about it. In high school I would make music with a close friend Nico and we would pass out cds. I stopped putting out music while in college to hone my sound but I kept making music. Presently I’m one hundred percent focused on music and this journey so far I’ve quickly gained more experience for my art and demonstrated that my music is needed.
